What is the Practice Managers Masterclass?

The Practice Managers Masterclass is an in‑person, skills-focused workshop designed specifically for practice managers who oversee the daily operations, people leadership, and strategic performance of a professional practice. It provides practical tools, real-world scenarios, and industry insights tailored to the unique challenges of practice management roles.

This masterclass is ideal for:

  • Senior administrators transitioning into management
  • Business owners who also manage operations
  • Team leaders wanting to strengthen their management capability

I am a practice manager and don’t have a member number – what should I enter in this field?

Please enter the AMA NSW member number for a doctor at your practice.

What should I bring?

Just yourself — all materials and catering are provided. A laptop or notebook is optional.

Am I eligible to receive a grant to attend this event?

A grant may be available to attend this event for Practice Managers and non-clinical administrative staff employed in a private primary healthcare practice in an MMM 3-7 location in NSW.

Provided by the Rural Doctors' Network, the Practice Sustainability Grant (PSG) aims to improve the viability and sustainability of rural practices by providing funding to practice managers and practice administration staff to upskill in business management.

 

Applicants can apply for up to $1,000 per individual, with a maximum of 2 applications per applicant each financial year. Applicants must apply for the grant before the educational activity takes place. Find out more here https://www.ruraldoctors.org/site/psg
